Passport Pilot — Terms of Use

By installing and using Passport Pilot you agree to the points below. They are deliberately short.

What you can expect from us

  • The app does what is described on the home page.
  • We work hard to make the calculator match the European Commission's official short-stay calculator. The "Verify against EU calculator" sheet inside the app is there so you can check.
  • We do not collect your trip data. See the Privacy Policy.
  • We answer support emails. See the support page.

What we expect from you

  • Use the app for its stated purpose — planning your own travel.
  • Treat the calculator's output as a guide, not a guarantee. Border officers have the final word.
  • Do not abuse the support form. The site uses a captcha; circumventing it (automated submissions, scraping, etc.) is not permitted.
  • Do not redistribute the app or the source files we ship inside it.

The calculator is a planning tool, not legal advice

The 90/180 rule, the UK Visitor cap, US ESTA, Canada Visitor, ETIAS, and tax-residency thresholds are all subject to change by the relevant authority and to interpretation in individual border situations. Passport Pilot's number is informational. It is not a substitute for advice from a lawyer, an immigration officer, or your own embassy. We are not liable for travel decisions made based on the app's output.

Subscription and payment

Some advanced features may be sold as an optional in-app subscription or one-time purchase via Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your card details. Refunds are handled through the App Store under Apple's terms.

Updates and discontinuation

We may release updates that change features. If the app is ever discontinued, your local trip database remains usable in the last installed version on your device.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes will be heard by Swedish courts.
