Terms of Service

Kickstart: ADHD Task Starter · Tarsoul AB · Effective 2026-06-11

1. The service

Kickstart is an iOS productivity app made by Tarsoul AB ("we"). These terms cover the app, its optional online features (AI breakdowns, sync, Body Double Rooms), and this website. By using Kickstart you accept these terms.

2. Not medical advice

Kickstart is a productivity support tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or cure ADHD or any condition. It is not a substitute for professional healthcare. If you need medical help, please talk to a clinician.

3. Subscriptions & purchases

Kickstart Plus is sold through Apple's App Store as a monthly subscription ($7.99), a yearly subscription with a 7-day free trial ($49.99), or a one-time lifetime purchase ($129.99); local prices may vary. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple under their terms — you can cancel anytime in your App Store subscription settings, effective at the end of the current period. The free tier remains usable regardless.

4. Fair use

AI breakdowns are metered (10/month free; a generous fair-use cap on Plus) to keep the service sustainable. We may adjust limits with notice in release notes.

5. Body Double Rooms conduct

Rooms are silent, pseudonymous co-working spaces. Offensive display names or task lines are filtered and may be reported by other users; we may restrict access for abuse. There is no chat and no audio/video — please don't try to turn task labels into one.

6. Your content

Your tasks are yours. We claim no ownership and, as described in the Privacy Policy, we don't store them server-side beyond transient AI processing.

7. Acceptable use

Don't abuse, reverse-bill, overload, or attempt to break the service or other users' experience; don't use the service where prohibited by law.

8. Availability & changes

Online features (AI, sync relay, rooms) are provided "as is" and may change or have downtime; the on-device core of the app keeps working without them. We may update the app and these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tarsoul AB is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

10. Governing law

Swedish law governs these terms. Disputes are handled by Swedish courts, without limiting your rights as a consumer in your country of residence.
