How to play
Place stars so every row, column and bold-outlined region has exactly the number of stars shown (1, 2 or 3). Stars never touch, not even diagonally. Tap once for an X, again for a star, a third time to clear.
Hints
Hints never guess. They highlight the rows, columns or region to look at and explain the next logical step. Hint-assisted daily times are not ranked.
Daily puzzle and leaderboard
A new daily puzzle appears at midnight UTC. Sign in to Game Center to post your time to the daily leaderboard; your Game Center nickname is your leaderboard name.
Free and Unlimited
The first 25 puzzles are free. After that the daily puzzle and one puzzle of your choice per day stay free. AstroKnot Unlimited is a one-time purchase that unlocks everything forever. Use "Restore purchases" from the menu after reinstalling.
Playing on several devices
Sign in to the same Apple ID and iCloud on each device. Your purchase, solved puzzles, times, streak and settings follow you. Leaderboard times are stored in Game Center. Boards you are in the middle of stay on the device you started them on.
